Cheers Erupt as the Loudoun County School Board is Served
Loudoun County parents served the Loudoun County School Board (LCSB) during their February 8, 2022, meeting. “We are therefore here today to serve you an affidavit which you must respond,” Rene Camp said. “Show us where in the constitution you have been given the legal authority to trample on people’s rights.” While being served, school board member Jeff Morse can be heard saying “I am not being served” while he simultaneously tried to bring order to the room after applause and cheers broke out.
One Loudoun County parent reported there were 585 signed affidavits presented to the school board by students LCPS suspended for not wearing a mask, even though they had the right to opt-out based on Governor Glenn Youngkin’s Executive Order 2. The maskless students can be seen in the video holding large stacks of paper before the masked board who were seated behind plexiglass partitions. The plexiglass and masks are apparently only needed so that school board members can engage in virtue signaling since, when not in front of constituents, they stand shoulder-to-shoulder, maskless.
The demands in the affidavit were for the LCSB to immediately:
Cease and desist all CRT and r/t programs
Dedicate restrooms to male, female, transgender, and staff
Cease and desist enforcing unconstitutional COVID-19 mandates
Provide full disclosure of incidents regarding sexual assault and protections against such assaults in the future
Provide for appropriate vetting and full participation by parents in choosing appropriate instructional materials
Cease and desist in requiring students to participate in surveys without appropriate parental consent
After serving the board, the teenage patriots successfully turned over the affidavits to an LCPS representative. Do not miss this amazing, emotional video.
